Bacon Ranch Steak Skillet

This one-pot meal could not get any easier. Five ingredients, and cooked in about 20 minutes, you’re going to love this easy Keto dinner! Plus, you can dress it up with any extras you like! Simply add broccoli or asparagus if you want more veggies. Or hot sauce to make it spicy. The possibilities are endless!

(Serving Size = 1/4 Skillet)


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 lbs - Shaved Steak

  • 6 oz. bag - Shredded Cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)

  • 1 - Onion, Sliced

  • 4-5 Strips - Thick-cut Bacon

  • 1/2 C - Ranch Dressing (Plus extra for drizzling on top!)

  • 1/2 tsp - Kosher or Sea Salt


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a large skillet (I prefer cast iron), crisp up bacon. Remove from pan, and chop bacon into small pieces.

  2. Saute the sliced onion (in the remaining bacon grease) until onions are soft and caramelized. Remove from pan and set aside.

  3. Turn heat to HIGH heat, and add steak to the pan along with salt. Saute until slightly under-done. It will finish cooking under the broiler.

  4. Turn on Broiler to HIGH.

  5. To the pan, add back all the cooked ingredients, and add the ranch dressing. Stir to combine. Then top with the shredded cheese in an even layer.

  6. Toss under the broiler for about 2 minutes, until cheese is brown and bubbly.

  7. Drizzle with more ranch and its ready to serve! YUM! OPTIONAL: I also like to top with sliced scallions.
